Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the Store Manager in overseeing daily thrift store activities
• Interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process raw materials by loading, unloading, sorting, packing, pricing, and storing donations
• Complete customer transactions accurately, including cash and debit sales
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, dusting, mopping, and organizing merchandise displays
• Monitor store security and assist with inventory control and reconciliation
• Act as a Team Lead for Store Associates in the absence of the Store Manager
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and store policies

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Two years of experience in a store or warehouse environment
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently without assistance
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to undergo applicable background checks
