Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide effective supervision and leadership to team members ensuring compliance with company policies and operational standards
• Manage shifts to optimize sales, efficiency, and profitability while monitoring team performance
• Ensure consistent compliance with CHAMPS standards (Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product, Speed of Service)
• Support the RGM and ARM in training, coaching, and developing team members
• Handle customer complaints professionally and foster a customer-centric culture
• Monitor and control labour, food, and operational costs during shifts
• Ensure accurate cash handling and compliance with banking procedures
• Oversee adherence to health, safety, and security procedures

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in the fast-food industry
• Valid South African ID
• Clear credit and criminal record
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
• Strong numeracy and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
