Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, development, training, and management support to the packaging team and Shift Supervisors
• Oversee emergency response and facility operations to ensure compliance with EHS standards
• Monitor product quality, inventories, production rates, and delivery schedules
• Manage and allocate site utilities in the event of process disruptions
• Act as the plant resource for DCS/HMI optimization and efficiency improvements
• Maintain adequate staffing schedules to ensure production and packing goals are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of supervisory/manufacturing technical experience, OR Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of experience, OR High School Diploma with 5 years of leadership experience
• Strong working knowledge of 5S
• Experience in Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for data analysis and charting
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and in physically demanding industrial environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around heavy machinery
