Shift Supervisor Landverkehr

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift consisting of industrial/commercial employees
• Manage personnel flexibly and with a focus on productivity
• Control warehouse throughput according to customer and partner lead times
• Ensure compliance with agreed process and quality standards
• Enforce occupational safety regulations
• Coordinate with dispatch, handling, pallet, and customer service departments
• Monitor warehouse equipment, loading units (trailers, etc.), and shipments for damage

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to assertively manage a team
• Valid forklift license and experience operating industrial vehicles
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to work late shifts
• Knowledge of load securing standards (VDI2700/CTU-Code) is an advantage
• High level of reliability, diligence, and communication skills
