Shift Supervisor - Food Service

Responsibilities

• Assist the CK2 Manager in overseeing the efficiency of a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety
• Oversee and delegate tasks to a team of 10-15 student workers
• Motivate, counsel, and discipline student employees in coordination with the Manager
• Manage front-end operations, including cashiering and customer service
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and reporting shortages
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is kept in proper working order
• Perform daily prep for Grab n Go items and manage stocking of incoming orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service
• Proven supervision and management experience
• SDA church member in good and regular standing
• Expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Ability to work weekend shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• College or trade school education
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and faculty
• Proficiency with computer skills and food service operations software
