About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed training on kitchen equipment and recipes
- Supervise 5 to 12 inmate trustees in food production, preparation, and meal service
- Maintain high sanitation standards using trustee labor
- Manage food service operations during assigned shifts
Requirements
- Industrial or commercial food service experience
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check through Potter County
- Ability to stand for long periods (approximately 80% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a correctional environment
- Veteran status
