Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop production operatives within a new purpose-built distribution facility
• Oversee daily activities including packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfilment, and stock handling
• Build strong relationships and engage with the team to maintain a positive working environment
• Support the onboarding of new employees and manage day-to-day employee relations
• Work collaboratively across different functions to ensure high-quality and efficient service
• Apply an analytical approach to solve teething problems and process queries in the new facility

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a distribution or warehouse facility is essential
• Proven experience in team management (large or small teams)
• Strong coaching and people development skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean methodology, or change management
• A commercially minded and analytical approach to problem-solving
