Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant operations focusing on safety, quality, production, and cost
• Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability
• Ensure a safe working environment and enforce housekeeping standards
• Provide direction to the team regarding duties and goals
• Complete paperwork and status reporting accurately and timely
• Facilitate daily communications and shift meetings
• Execute tasks assigned by the Production Manager

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of industrial or manufacturing experience
• Background in wood products preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnights
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 100 ft
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Previous management experience
