Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 employees in a rotating shift environment to ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
• Conduct GEMBA walks and MSHA workplace inspections to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping and adhere to all company safety requirements and initiatives.
• Hold team members accountable for production results, quality standards, and training completion.
• Lead employee training initiatives and conduct competency testing to ensure the production plan is met.
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use digital tools to report shift events, downtime, and production data.
• Utilize SAP to report operational conditions and proactively address deviations to prevent unplanned events.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP.
