Shift Safety Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Monitor production floor activity to ensure all personnel operate within prescribed safety guidelines and environmental compliance
• Conduct investigations into reported hazards and near misses to identify solutions and improve safety culture
• Lead the safety committee and develop mitigation plans for identified risks and environmental concerns
• Facilitate safety training, orientations, and walkthroughs for new hires to ensure adherence to HSE standards
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records for all plant personnel
• Partner with site leadership and Regional HSE Specialists to implement corrective actions and mitigate plant risks
• Support the execution of GAP safety program strategies and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

• Prior experience in a safety role within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience monitoring HSE performance and programs
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain strong employee relations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in English and Haitian Creole or Spanish
