Shift Production Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing activities, spending at least 75% of time on the production floor.
• Coach and mentor associates to ensure accountability for safety, quality, production, and housekeeping.
• Manage staffing and training plans within the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Monitor production metrics and collaborate with Production Planning to meet schedules and goals.
• Address safety issues or incidents promptly and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Facilitate open communication between production associates and management.
• Support continuous improvement activities and ensure adherence to quality systems and policies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (required if no Associate degree is held).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience in people leadership and manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of quality systems and safety/ergonomics expertise.
