Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage production lines to meet planned volumes and commercial targets
• Motivate and manage Line Leaders and production teams
• Optimise revenue per hour while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Liaise with HR and agencies regarding staff requirements
• Use integrated management systems (Blue Logic/Vision) for production planning
• Manage line changeovers and ensure successful trials and first offs
• Ensure compliance with GMP, hygienic audits, and health and safety regulations
• Train and develop staff through skills matrices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct disciplinary investigations and RTWIs
• Monitor and minimise waste

Requirements

• H&S L2 Qualification
• NVQ L2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations
• Ability to lead temporary labour and work towards strict targets
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience with manufacturing machinery and processes preferred
• Food or packing industry experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• NVQ L3 in Team Leading
• First Aid certification
• Fire Marshall training
