Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control shift operations to achieve production standards within the assigned area
• Lead and develop team members through training, assessments, and performance accountability
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety and quality procedures, including HACCP and GMP standards
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping using the "clean as you go" principle
• Manage cost control by minimizing waste and reducing equipment downtime
• Facilitate effective communication through daily briefs and de-brief sessions with the production team
• Monitor and drive improvements in quality targets, safety incidents, and attainment goals

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations such as HACCP or GMP
• Proven leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage shift operations and coordinate complex production activities
• Proficiency in math and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Five years of related manufacturing experience
