About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the plant
- Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs
- Support installation work and equipment improvements
- Drive plant reliability, uptime and continuous improvement
- Work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime
- Coordinate specialist maintenance activities with contractors
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Support preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience in fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water or industrial environments
- Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles
- Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification preferred
