Shift Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery to minimize downtime
• Ensure all equipment, machinery, and peripherals operate efficiently to maintain continuous production
• Carry out repairs on machines during breakdowns or as part of scheduled maintenance
• Complete all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs accurately in accordance with company procedures
• Adhere to all quality, hygiene, and food safety policies during maintenance activities

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship (Electrical discipline preferred)
• Demonstrable electrical fault finding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, including the ability to read schematics
• 17th or 18th edition electrical regulations knowledge
• Full understanding of energy isolation, safe working practices, and L.O.T.O.
• Experience within an FMCG background
• Understanding of 5S workplace fundamentals and a "clean as you go" work ethic
