Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operational activities during a designated shift to ensure production lines meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
• Enforce a "zero safety incidents" culture by ensuring adherence to safety rules, LOTO, and hazard-free environments
• Monitor and maintain quality standards to ensure zero quality incidents and 100% good-quality products
• Coordinate across production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth transitions and execution of standard work
• Identify and eliminate production losses through systemic loss elimination and root-cause analysis
• Coach, develop, and grow high-performing line teams through effective feedback and training
• Manage shift performance data within ERP, MES, or production dashboards
• Lead shutdown maintenance and respond promptly to line stoppages or equipment malfunctions

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical qualification required
• 3+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role
• Knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) systems
• Understanding of Six Sigma principles and Total Productive Maintenance
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:30pm) with flexibility for other shifts as required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people in a union environment
