Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to Crew members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager
• Coach, direct, and recognize outstanding behavior among Crew members during shifts
• Train Crew members on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards
• Manage opening and/or closing procedures for the restaurant
• Create and ensure superior guest experiences
• Contribute to the achievement of restaurant cost and profit goals

Requirements

• EPL Crewmember certified on all EPL SPECS positions or 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Serve Safe Certificate (must have at time of hire or obtain where applicable)
