Shift Leader

Responsibilities

• Support all restaurant operations to ensure high quality of product and customer service
• Role model and hold Team Members accountable to operational and quality standards
• Assign duties and responsibilities to Team Members based on work requirements
• Practice safe food handling procedures to ensure compliance with local health standards
• Administer kitchen set up by creating prep sheets and managing cleaning duties
• Foster open communication between Team Members and Management
• Interview job candidates and oversee the training and development of hourly Team Members
• Drive business results by utilizing Chili's systems to effectively control costs
• Drive guest engagement and rectify guest complaints promptly
• Perform basic register functions including voids, comps, and discounts
• Assist with food and beverage preparation, receiving, and storage

Requirements

• Dependable team player who prefers a fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to verbalize clearly to guests and staff
• Ability to stand and walk 100% of the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs up to 20 times per shift
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
• Ability to work in a damp, hot work environment and use kitchen machinery
