About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Vehicle Safety Operators (VSOs) during live testing operations
- Own shift execution including coordinating people, vehicles, schedules, and operational priorities
- Line manage VSOs with regular documented contact and performance monitoring
- Act as an operational point of contact for OEM and partner activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety protocols
- Support high-quality data collection and identify operational risks
- Provide initial point of contact for on-road incidents and manage incident documentation
- Coordinate training and development events with the Quality Assurance team
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Japanese
- Proven experience as a team coordinator in fast-moving environments (mobility, logistics, aviation, etc.)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite
- Full clean driving license
- At least 8 years of driving experience in Japan
- No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years
