Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Vehicle Safety Operators (VSOs) during live testing operations
• Own shift execution including coordinating people, vehicles, schedules, and operational priorities
• Line manage VSOs with regular documented contact and performance monitoring
• Act as an operational point of contact for OEM and partner activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety protocols
• Support high-quality data collection and identify operational risks
• Provide initial point of contact for on-road incidents and manage incident documentation
• Coordinate training and development events with the Quality Assurance team

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Japanese
• Proven experience as a team coordinator in fast-moving environments (mobility, logistics, aviation, etc.)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suite
• Full clean driving license
• At least 8 years of driving experience in Japan
• No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years
