Shift Lead, Licensed Cosmetologist

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and develop leadership skills to provide top-tier employee and guest experiences
• Lead by example through sales and service behaviors and resolve guest service issues
• Support front of house and back of house operations and assist with retail orders
• Provide consultations and all menu services including shampooing, styling, and chemical services
• Act as manager-on-duty to foster a collaborative team environment through coaching and feedback
• Contribute to monthly sales goals, retail sales, and memberships
• Ensure merchandising, inventory, and company asset security standards are met
• Coach and develop team members to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management as needed by the Manager

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment
• 1+ year of leadership experience in a customer-facing environment
• Effective communication and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency operating point of sale systems
• Fluency in English
