Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations and lead teams including direct and contract workers
• Ensure plant operational control and strict adherence to safety (EHS) standards
• Oversee Ferrochrome Plant operations, material dispatch, and feeding
• Monitor mobile equipment utilization and workforce distribution
• Maintain product quality and ensure all activities follow SOPs
• Supervise slag pit handling and dumping in designated locations
• Report shift operations, equipment faults, and incidents to management
• Maintain accurate logbooks and conduct toolbox talks before shifts

Requirements

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering
• 5 years of experience in Steel, Cement, Ferrochrome, or Process Plant operations (Jigging preferred)
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
• Experience in shift handling and meeting production targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Add-on qualification in Safety
