About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle shift operations and manage teams including direct and contract workers
- Ensure plant operational control and strict adherence to safety (EHS) standards
- Manage Ferrochrome Plant operations, including material dispatch and feeding
- Oversee mobile equipment utilization and workforce distribution
- Monitor product quality and maintain production targets
- Supervise slag pit operations and slag handling
- Maintain accurate shift logbooks and report observations to the operations manager
Requirements
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience in Steel, Cement, Ferrochrome, or Process Plant operations (specifically JIGGING)
- Proficiency in English and Hindi
- Strong understanding of EHS protocols and safety management
