Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Plan daily production schedules for slag and scrap handling and processing
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
• Coordinate with the Maintenance department to optimize resource availability
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and health and safety protocols
• Monitor quality standards and enforce quality control and tracking programs
• Uphold ISO, GBP, and OSHA standards
• Maintain accurate shift logs and performance reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in a steel melt shop or blast furnace environment
• Experience in operation management and supervising beneficiation plant activities
• Knowledge of process control parameters such as temperature, pressure, and density
• Sound knowledge of HSE protocols including LOTO and PTW
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate plant operators across multiple shifts
