Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of up to 30 employees per shift
• Act as the deputy for the Hub Manager, supporting personnel planning and operations
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize hub processes to ensure efficient workflows
• Manage daily inventory, stock control, and the picking process
• Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
• Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a hands-on approach in daily operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership or personnel management
• Background in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make quick, rational decisions
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on attitude
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Flexibility to work regular late shifts and weekends
• Ability to stay calm and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
