Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 30 employees per shift and act as a deputy for the Hub Manager
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize hub processes to ensure efficient operations
• Delegate tasks while actively participating in daily hands-on operations
• Take responsibility for daily inventory control, stock management, and order picking
• Monitor and ensure strict adherence to food hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
• Assist with staff scheduling and workforce planning under the guidance of the Hub Manager

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Proven team player with the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to lead by example
• High level of resilience and flexibility to work late shifts and weekends
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics is preferred
• Experience in team or staff leadership is a significant advantage
