Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 30 employees per shift and act as a deputy for the Hub Manager
• Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and performance management of new team members
• Implement, analyze, and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency
• Delegate tasks while actively participating in daily hands-on operations
• Take responsibility for daily inventory control, stock management, and order picking
• Manage staff scheduling and roster maintenance under the guidance of the Hub Manager
• Monitor and enforce food hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)

Requirements

• Proactive communicator with strong decision-making skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• Proven team player with the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to lead by example
• High level of resilience and flexibility regarding late shifts and weekend work
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Comfortable using modern technology and digital solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, gastronomy, or logistics
• Prior experience in team leadership or personnel management
