Shift Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist plant leadership in managing total plant operations for an assigned shift
• Supervise production employees and monitor production and shipping schedules
• Provide hands-on peer leadership to support training, motivation, and delegation
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy
• Act as a subject matter expert for specialized areas like forklift operations or repair lines
• Step in to support production activities during shifts or breaks to maintain workflow

Requirements

• Prior experience as a supervisor or operations lead in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and delegation skills
• Proficiency in inventory control and shift planning
• A safety-first mindset
• Physical ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 78 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekdays and every other weekend
