Shift Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of shift plans considering production requirements and personnel availability
• Ensuring optimal staffing for all shifts, including coordination of overtime
• Adjusting shift plans for short-term changes such as sick leave or production peaks
• Close cooperation with Production Managers to effectively manage personnel needs
• Management and maintenance of time and attendance data in the ShiftBase system
• Solving operational challenges in production
• Taking immediate measures during unexpected disruptions or bottlenecks to maintain operations
• Ensuring communication between production and technical departments for rapid decision-making
• Regular coordination with the production team to resolve operational issues promptly

Requirements

• Experience in shift planning and personnel deployment, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Proficiency with personnel planning tools and ideally experience with ShiftBase or similar time tracking systems
• Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent way of working
• High level of responsibility, especially regarding sensitive personnel and time data
• Ability to react quickly to short-term changes
• Knowledge of working hours legislation and documentation of hours, breaks, and overtime
• Completed training as a specialist in food technology or similar
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
