Shift Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain shift plans considering production requirements and personnel availability
• Ensure optimal staffing for all shifts, including overtime coordination
• Adjust shift plans for short-term changes such as sick leave or production peaks
• Collaborate closely with Production Managers to manage personnel needs effectively
• Manage and maintain time and attendance data in the ShiftBase system
• Solve operational challenges within production
• Take immediate action during unexpected disruptions or bottlenecks to maintain operations
• Ensure communication between production and technical departments for rapid decision-making
• Coordinate regularly with the production team to resolve operational issues promptly

Requirements

• Experience in shift planning and personnel deployment, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Proficiency with personnel planning tools, ideally ShiftBase or similar time tracking systems
• Strong organizational skills and a structured, independent way of working
• High level of responsibility, especially regarding sensitive personnel and time data
• Ability to react quickly to short-term changes
• Knowledge of working hours legislation and documentation of hours, breaks, and overtime
• Completed training as a specialist in food technology or similar
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
