Shift Coordinator 2

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees while auditing work processes to ensure production specifications are met
• Maintain positive relationships with staff and direct policy questions to the appropriate manager
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
• Inspect products and shipments to verify conformance to specifications
• Review and approve machine setups, production samples, and shipments
• Identify and report opportunities for continual process improvement
• Coordinate training for new employees and contract workers regarding safety and quality requirements
• Oversee work conducted by junior-level staff and maintain shift attendance records

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
• Proficiency in MS Office and other job-specific software
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including rates, ratios, and percentages
