SHEQ Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into effective technical solutions
• Architect and lead full-stack development of large-scale operational software, owning engineering decisions
• Stay current with evolving technologies and contribute to upgrading the team’s technology stack
• Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing to support the growth of junior team members
• Balance the development of new solutions with the maintenance and support of existing tools to ensure reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of solving ambiguous requirements
• Proven full-stack development expertise and system design skills
• Strong JavaScript skills with experience building modern single-page applications
• Experience designing and building ETL pipelines
• Strong relational database skills, including schema design, querying, and performance tuning
• Willingness and availability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js
• Knowledge of C# and .NET
• Experience in operational or industrial software domains, particularly safety-related applications
• Familiarity with operations research, mathematical modeling, and data science concepts
