Sheetmetal Programmer/Estimator

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs for laser, punching, press brake, and sheet metal equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to establish manufacturing routings
• Select appropriate tooling, materials, and processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on material, labor, and machine time
• Review customer drawings to determine manufacturing requirements and support the sales team with competitive quotes
• Generate and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance
• Coordinate packaging, shipping documentation, and carrier pickups to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience with CNC programming specifically for sheet metal fabrication
• Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming languages
• Strong understanding of sheet metal processes and materials
• Familiarity with TRUMPF equipment and industry standards
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
