Sheet Metal Worker

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld nickel alloy components used within Small Gas Turbine products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions
• Carry out seam welding and associated fabrication activities to produce precision-engineered components
• Inspect completed parts visually and dimensionally to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Identify and report manufacturing issues to support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain safety and delivery performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with EHS requirements

Requirements

• Recognised Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, Technical Certificate, or equivalent
• Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with nickel alloy materials such as Inconel, Hastelloy, or Nimonic
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Basic computer skills to support documentation and reporting requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality
