SHE Head Foods LATAM

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety, Health, Environment, and site security agenda for Foods LATAM across multiple sites in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina
• Implement Global SSHE policies and standards to drive regional compliance
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate operational risks
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring the implementation of effective corrective actions
• Partner with Technical Advisors and Category Partners to mitigate risks related to explosive dust, boilers, and flammables
• Monitor and report on SSHE performance metrics and trends to the supply chain leadership team
• Provide training and guidance to employees on SSHE practices and procedures
• Manage and oversee emergency response plans and drills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Environment, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in SHE management, specifically leading agendas at complex sites
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role
• Proven expertise in leading incident/accident investigations and closing audit gaps
• Strong experience leading Risk Assessments and implementing Engineering Controls
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with OH&S Management systems such as ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
• Professional certification in SHE management (e.g., CSP, CIH, or NEBOSH)
• Strong analytical focus on reporting and governance
• Experience with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP)
