SHE Advisor

Responsibilities

• Aid project management teams in upholding Health, Safety & Environmental standards
• Execute meticulous inspections focusing on SHEQ compliance and industry best practices
• Ensure safe maintenance and risk management of plant and materials (PUWER, LOLER, RAMS, CoSHH, FIRE)
• Nurture a culture of safety through the LIFE behaviour program
• Manage contractors to ensure adherence to HSEQ standards
• Conduct equipment inspections and deliver accredited training programs
• Lead incident investigations and produce educational materials

Requirements

• Minimum NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Valid CSCS card aligned to role
• Experience and knowledge of RC Frameworks and Ground Works
• Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
• Outstanding IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in Construction or Engineering
• TEEPs and TSTS
• IEMA Environmental Qualification
• Temporary Works Coordinator
• Fire Risk Assessor or CoSHH Assessor
• Experience with lifting equipment (e.g., Cranes)
• Knowledge of Behavioural Safety
• Trainer or Teaching qualification
