About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, focusing on email-related journeys.
- Develop custom scripts, triggers, and APIs to enhance marketing automation functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to SFMC.
- Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet technical specifications and business needs.
- Design and implement automated email and mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
- Build integrations between Marketing Cloud and third-party applications or data sources.
- Conduct user training and promote user adoption of the platform.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar SFMC development role.
- Proficiency in SFMC scripting languages including AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SSJS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios and Builders, specifically Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
- Strong understanding of data models, APIs, and configuration.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud).
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree or professional qualification.
- Proven track record of delivering marketing automation projects in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce CDP, Datorama, or Interaction Studio.
- Knowledge of Commerce Cloud or Advertising Studio.
- Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Jitterbit, Talend, or Dell Boomi.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (360) and PPC advertising metrics.
