About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, focusing on email-related journeys.
  • Develop custom scripts, triggers, and APIs to enhance marketing automation functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to SFMC.
  • Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet technical specifications and business needs.
  • Design and implement automated email and mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Build integrations between Marketing Cloud and third-party applications or data sources.
  • Conduct user training and promote user adoption of the platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar SFMC development role.
  • Proficiency in SFMC scripting languages including AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SSJS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios and Builders, specifically Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
  • Strong understanding of data models, APIs, and configuration.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud).
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree or professional qualification.
  • Proven track record of delivering marketing automation projects in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CDP, Datorama, or Interaction Studio.
  • Knowledge of Commerce Cloud or Advertising Studio.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Informatica, Jitterbit, Talend, or Dell Boomi.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (360) and PPC advertising metrics.
