SFA Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Special Feature Authorization (SFA) and Engineering To Order (ETO) projects within the R&D and Engineering Department.
• Lead the local ETO Department team, including managing attendance, holiday planning, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate the development of ETO products from design concept through design validation and prototype handover.
• Support the Order Validation Specialist Supervisor in ensuring BOMs are ready for production.
• Provide post-sales service support by studying, quoting, and designing solutions for customer change requests.
• Act as a key technical reference for Quality, Procurement, Service, and Production departments.
• Monitor team KPIs and facilitate daily operational tasks to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing similar engineering or project-based roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration principles, and physics.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and technical norms/standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to travel globally (approximately 25%) and flexibility to attend meetings across different time zones.
