Sewer

Responsibilities

• Read repair tickets and follow instructions to perform high-quality sewing repairs on luxury bags
• Operate sewing equipment and various power tools
• Inspect bags to understand original construction and determine proper reassembly techniques
• Reconstruct bags carefully to ensure no damage occurs during the process
• Mark and cut panels using scissors to match patterns or original components
• Install zippers, handles, straps, and corner guards to ensure proper placement and function
• Ensure all finished products meet TUMI’s high-quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the repair team

Requirements

• Prior sewing experience
• Basic measuring skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
