About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform die set-up including machine start-up and shut-down
- Change coils and un-jam various machines (Bihler, Lens, Finzer, BMS, Spako, Ing Yu)
- Regrind dies and troubleshoot/repair machines to pass FAIR
- Operate overhead cranes and pull tooling from Lean Lift
- Ensure compliance with ICM master manual, process manuals, and product safety
- Measure products to print specifications using calipers
- Gauge parts to engineering specifications and enter data into Fastcheck
- Conduct quality visual inspections of finished products
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a die setter in a metal stamping manufacturing facility
- Proficiency in assembly, inspection, and math skills
- Strong reading comprehension skills
