About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the invoice booking and verification process for cargo, freight, and ancillary invoices
- Oversee financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Monitor due dates to ensure the timely receipt and issuance of invoices
- Validate and process invoices covering purchases, sales, freight, ancillary charges, and demurrage
- Clear receipts and payments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports and manage assigned financial functions
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in Settlements or Finance within the Oil and Gas industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Hands-on experience with SAP and CTRM systems
- Deep understanding of the commodity trading life cycle
- Understanding of basic contract law
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
