Set Up Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepare, adjust, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
• Perform machine setups, quality checks, and minor troubleshooting to support production flow
• Gather, bundle, and stack fiberboard partitions and monitor glue levels
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards
• Manage waste by emptying trash barrels (up to 70 lbs) and operating the shredder
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
• Handle materials including strapping, palletizing, and filling hoppers

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Proficiency with a ruler and tape measure
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
• Ability to count accurately and learn new processes quickly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Reliable attendance and dependability
