Set-Up CNC Technician

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot a variety of CNC/ASM machines including boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, and tapping
• Perform specified quality checks on piece parts and trial runs using standard and special measuring devices
• Perform set-up teardown work as directed by Group Leader
• Assist in analyzing workload, maintaining supply levels, and ordering new tools and supplies
• Maintain necessary shop orders and shop records

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC machining and assembly
• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machines
• Ability to work in a "work cell" machine shop environment
• Physical ability to perform average to heavy lifting and required dexterity
• Ability to work with chemicals including Chlorethene, Water Soluble Oils, and Cleaning Solvents

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology or related field
• Experience with precision machining and quality control
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
