Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on medical devices, including operating tables, surgical lights, and ceiling supply units
• Provide comprehensive product and customer support, ensuring all service activities are documented in the company system
• Act as a medical device consultant based on MPG and MPBetreibV regulations
• Collaborate closely with internal service teams and the field sales department
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the Innsbruck area
• Support adjacent service areas through holiday coverage and willingness to learn additional product lines (e.g., Acute Care Therapies or Infection Control)

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Technician, Medical Technician, Energy Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
• Strong technical knowledge in electricity, electronics, mechanical drives, and hydraulics
• Proficiency in German and good command of English
• Ability to work independently with a structured, quality-conscious, and responsible approach
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the assigned service area (Innsbruck and surroundings)
• Previous experience in field service is desirable, though medical technology experience is not mandatory as training is provided
