Services Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and guide the execution of Datadog implementations, including requirement gathering and technical architecture.
• Lead customer onboarding through co-development working sessions and technical roadmaps.
• Write automation and design architecture for deployment templates.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of implementation projects.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales teams to ensure an exceptional onboarding experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Architect or Consultant within a professional services team.
• Proven experience designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps monitoring or architecture systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and compute technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, or serverless).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.
• Background in security operations, including SOC management or SIEM tooling.
• Ability to travel to client sites up to 30% of the time.
