ServiceNow Senior Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain key ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
• Provide hands-on development using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and workflow automation
• Manage day-to-day operations (BAU) by investigating and resolving L2/L3 defects
• Enhance existing ITSM processes and service delivery logic
• Collaborate with service owners and operations teams to convert requirements into functional solutions
• Support release and deployment processes by managing update sets and providing testing validation
• Maintain cross-platform consistency alongside ITOM, CSM, and integration module owners

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on ITSM
• Expertise in Incident, Request, Change, and Problem management workflows
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies
• Experience in live production support (BAU) environments
• Strong understanding of SLA configuration, approval workflows, and ServiceNow data models
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale ServiceNow environments with high user volumes
• Familiarity with IntegrationHub, API-based integrations, ITOM, and CMDB concepts
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
• Certified Application Developer (CAD)
