ServiceNow Senior Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain key ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
• Provide hands-on development using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and workflow automation
• Manage day-to-day operations (BAU) by investigating and resolving L2/L3 defects and enhancing existing workflows
• Ensure all solutions follow platform standards, reusable design patterns, and best practices for scalability
• Collaborate with service owners and operations teams to convert requirements into functional solutions
• Support release and deployment processes by managing update sets and providing testing validation

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development with a strong emphasis on ITSM
• Demonstrated expertise in building Incident, Request, Change, and Problem management workflows
• Proficient technical skills in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and workflow automation
• Experience operating in a live production support environment managing enhancements and defect resolution
• Strong understanding of SLA configuration, approval workflows, and the ServiceNow data model
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery settings

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA (Certified System Administrator), CIS-ITSM, or CAD
• Experience in large-scale ServiceNow environments with high user volumes
• Familiarity with IntegrationHub, API-based integrations, ITOM, and CMDB concepts
