Service Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial duties including dusting furniture, floors, hallways, and stairways
• Execute floor care tasks such as stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, and buffing using electric buffers and automatic machines
• Sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
• Manage waste removal by collecting litter and emptying waste/compost receptacles
• Clean windows, walls, partitions, and carpets as required
• Replenish essential supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sanitizers
• Assist with exterior maintenance, including clearing debris and power washing entrance pads
• Support snow removal and special event setups as needed

Requirements

• Completion of tenth grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Physical ability to perform demanding cleaning duties and operate heavy-duty equipment
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related custodial or cleaning work experience
