Requirements
Tenth grade education or equivalent, Physical ability for manual labor, English communication skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Clean and dust furniture, floors, hallways, stairways, and ledges using appropriate equipment
- Recondition floors including stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, and buffing
- Clean washrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
- Collect litter and manage waste/recycling removal
- Clean carpets and remove spots or stains
- Wash windows, walls, and partition glass
- Move and reset furniture as required
- Make beds for residence guests
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and sanitizers
- Change light bulbs and clean fixtures
- Clear exterior entrance ways of debris and perform snow removal when necessary
- Assist with setups for special events and exams
- Clean escalators and elevator interiors/exteriors
Requirements
- Completion of tenth grade or equivalent
- One year of related work experience is desirable
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and use heavy equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
