Service Worker Caretaking (Ancillary)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial duties including dusting furniture, floors, hallways, and stairways using appropriate equipment
• Recondition floors through stripping, refinishing, scrubbing, and buffing
• Sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
• Collect and remove waste, recycling, and compost from receptacles and buildings
• Clean carpets, windows, walls, and partition glass
• Replenish essential supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
• Assist with snow removal, exterior entrance cleaning, and special event setups
• Perform other related maintenance duties as required under general supervision

Requirements

• Completion of tenth grade or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Physical ability to perform demanding cleaning duties and operate heavy-duty equipment
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related custodial or cleaning work experience
