Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair sun protection products (e.g., ZIP awnings, blinds, and shutters) directly at customer sites
• Perform daily service calls starting from home or the warehouse via company vehicle
• Analyze causes of malfunctions and ensure long-term error resolution
• Instruct customers on product handling
• Provide detailed documentation for efficient follow-up by the service office
• Independently manage tool and material stocks in the service vehicle

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Polybau, Mechanic, Electrician)
• Several years of professional experience as a service technician
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
• Valid driver's license (Class B or 3)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to react flexibly to unexpected situations
• Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland (primarily Zurich area)
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills
• Customer-oriented and communicative personality
